October 26-27: Fun Days!

Let's see- we've had a great week! Tuesday Sara tried out her Halloween dress from Nonna. Unfortunately, with the high temps and humidity we were having, it was just too hot. Sara does love the dress though :)

We were having a bit of a rough day on Tuesday, so we escaped to City Park for some play time. It was great ;)
Mick loves to swing and he is getting so big- he can climb up this ladder without any help (causing me to have a heart attack...)

On Wednesday night, Aunt Connie watched Peter for me (thanks so much!) and I took Sara and Mick trick-or-treating on sorority row. They did a great job- every house had lots of candy and they each had fun activities!

Mick and the cookie he "decorated" He covered it in icing and then licked it off!

We played in a bounce house for awhile:

Sara got her face painted!

We blew bubbles!

Met Snow White! (Mick wouldn't get in this picture. We also tried to get a picture with Mike the Tiger- dressed as Batman! but I wasn't fighting all the other crazy people trying to do the same thing!)

We took a little break to check out our candy! Mick wasn't too sure about trick-or-treating. Once he realized he got candy, he was all about it. Everytime he saw anyone (kid, adult, sorority girl) with a full bucket he would yell "MINE" and try to take candy. I don't know what I am going to do with him!
Mick trying to eat candy with the wrapper on:

Dumping out his candy:

Sara got her face painted again!

Mick pointing out the moon! He loves to find it (and he's really good at it!)

Eating their one candy for the night! It was SO hot! Sara asked to take off her costume and she was drenched in sweat! Poor girl! You would think someone would design costumes for those of us with 90 degree Halloweens! Oh, and Mick wouldn't wear the cowboy hat, so I borrowed some costumes from a friend- two were fleece and the other was a firemen's jacket he wouldn't wear. So we ended up with the football jersey on. Oh well. He didn't really care. He loved seeing all the costumes though and cracked up at a kid dressed as a dog! It was really funny :)
