We had a party for Sara and Peter with our family. Of course, I planned this without considering poor Mick, who thought it was also his birthday. I knew we were in trouble when he was walking around the house that morning saying "Happy Birthday to me" So we celebrated his birthday too! :) Here are some pictures from the day, it was a great one! On a side note, I know its been a while, but I can't believe that Peter is one! Its gone so quickly (I guess that is what having kids 18 months apart is like...) and its honestly been the hardest year of my life, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Peter is still a little fussy but he also gives the best hugs (yes he walks up and hugs you!) and has the biggest smiles. He is such a sweet baby and he loves his siblings so much (which he demonstrates by his hugs) We love you Peter!!!

September 8-9: OUTSIDE!!!

We have fully enjoyed the cooler weather! We went to the park just about every day the week school started- I feel like we have been so couped up with the heat!

Since three days a week its just me and the boys I have been trying to do some fun stuff. One day we went to the lake to feed the ducks but we had to leave because the ducks just about attacked us and scared the boys! I would be scared too- some of those ducks are bigger than them (they are well fed!)

September 6: First Day of School!

It was a beautiful day for the kids to start school! Mick is in the 2 year old class and Sara is in pre-K!! I can't believe it! She is so proud that she is an "upstairs friend" at school (the pre-K classes are upstairs and they are all friends at school) I was a little worried about Mick starting, but he loves it! He didn't give me a second glance and all the reports from his teacher have been wonderful. I am so glad that he likes it- he even throws a fit when he doesn't get to go (since he only goes twice a week while Sara goes every day). They sure are getting big!!

Tropical Storm Lee brought in some cooler weather over Labor Day weekend and we took full advantage by taking lots and lots of walks (we couldn't play outside since everything was so wet!)
