January 24-27: Fun times!

Here are a few pictures from our week! I am not doing a great job of taking pictures :) We have been playing with our friends a lot and enjoying the nice weather :)
Sara dressed up Peter:
And today, Sara wanted a restaurant for lunch time. I was the waitress and our restaurant served peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, popcorn, and cheese! YUM! :) Here are my patrons:

January 23: Ditch!

Mike had to paint the door frame Sunday so we were hanging out in the front yard and of course, Mick wanted to go in the ditch! He got super muddy and was loving it. Sara, on the other hand was doing ok until her knees got muddy and then she had to go inside and bathe! Such a girl!

After some baths, Peter checked out his saucer- I think its a hit!

January 20: Fun Day :)

We had a great day last Thursday! We started out at the zoo-we were literally the only people there!! The kids really enjoyed it!

My wild animals:

Peter even rode in the stroller for a while!

Checking out the fish:

They love to climb on the rocks:

Later on, Sara wanted to make a book so she drew the pictures and told me what words to write. Its a great story about Rapunzel. Just a sampling "Why is your hair so long?" "Its a bright bright day, I want to go inside" She is really proud of it!

Here is Mick playing later that night. This is a typical play session with him- he loves cars, trains, and trucks (and diggers!)

The day ended with two sick boys- turns out they both had ear infections! Looks like winter has hit the Pasquier house...

January 27: Peter

Peter is getting so big!! He is doing great- he's a lot happier than he was!

He enjoys playing with the cow (apparently that's a family tradition...)

And playing with Cars :)

The little boy has now cut all 4 bottom teeth! We heard all about it! At Amie and Paw-paw's last weekend we couldn't find a teether so we settled for a popsicle :)

We likes to laugh and smile, just not on camera! Paw-paw was tickling him and he was laughed and smiling so big and every time I would try to take a picture he'd stop and look at me!

We got the saucer out and we are once again enjoying the crazy circus music!

I can't believe that he is almost five months old! To be honest, most of it is a blur but I love him so much and couldn't imagine my life without him!

January 9-19: Around :)

Hi cyber world! Sorry for the delay in posting- we've been so busy and Mike was out of town all last week. Anyway, on Sunday January 9- the kids and I were at Amie and Paw-Paw's and Sara read to Peter. So cute! I tried to get a video but I missed it. :( Peter loves his sister and always brightens up when he sees her.

Peter has cut two teeth and loves to put things in his mouth. Here we go again...
Sara picked this outfit out for herself. Very stripy!

Sara took this picture of me and Peter. We love to be outside :)

Mick loves Mater (from Cars) and he spends a lot of time trying to tow other cars/trains.

Sara loves to do puzzles- she is getting so good :)

On Wednesday, January 12 Mick had his last class of the session at the Little Gym. Unfortunately Mike was out of town for it and so Amie and I went to see. I wasn't quite sure what all he does/ could do but we had fun :) This is his favorite thing- swinging:

Doing a roll on the balance beam:

He's so big :)

Peter had fun too- thanks Amie- don't think I could have done it without you :)

Mick got a certificate and a metal- he was so proud!

It was really cold Wednesday night so we did a little experiment and put some water outside. Sara was so impressed that it froze! (We did it again on Thursday night, but it wasn't cold enough to freeze it. :( )

Sara is my big helper!

Sara took this picture of me folding laundry while wearing Peter. Don't I look awesome?
Mick has learned how to climb on top of the play house (he is so good at watching and imitating his sister!)

Peter is getting so big!!! He will sit in the Bumbo and play (for a little while!)

Peter is getting good at rolling and tries to roll in his nap nanny. I guess this is why they were recalled! Don't worry we don't leave him in there unsupervised.

Hope you're well!!

January 3: Peter is 4 months!!

Peter made 4 months- can you believe it? We weighed in at 14 lbs, 14 oz (50th percentile) and measured 24.25 inches (10th percentile). Everything checked out great. I can't believe he is already 4 months old!

January 2-8: Back to normal!

We've been trying to get back to normal after the holidays. Sara went back to school (thank God) and we've had some playdates! We've also been playing with our new toys:

and picking out awesome outfits!

And of course we've been playing a lot on our new swing set!

This is Mick's new favorite- Mater from Cars

Its been raining regularly- so we have mud under the swing set. I tried to make the kids wear boots but that just resulted in muddy bare feet. After washing tennis shoes the day before, I think this is the better option! We go straight to the bath after playing outside. :)

We've been playing with our friends also! Mick and Sara are like monkeys! Sara is the mama monkey- she helps Mick climb :)

My trio:

Sara and Ryan about to jump! These two girls had a blast together!

We also played with Carolyn, Anna, and Drew. Here are Peter and Drew laying around like a couple of babies!

The big kids doing rolls- they sure had a lot of fun together!

Here's a little video of Mick with his cars:
