Mike had told Sara that he would take her camping in the back yard a while ago. We have been so busy on the weekends that we never get a chance so on Monday Mike set up the tent! The kids had a BLAST playing in it :)

Mike even made a fire and we cooked hot dogs and marshmallows. (we weren't sure how long the fire would last so we did the marshmallows first!)

Sara insisted that the proper way to eat a hot dog at a camp out was on a chopstick. We chose not to fight her...

The kids had a blast but when it came time to actually go to bed, Sara was not interested in sleeping outside. She said it was because she was afraid of the dark. Maybe next time :)
