October 31: Halloween- the real deal :)

The kids were SO excited for Halloween! Here they are with their pumpkins:

Sara was a pro trick or treater this year! Mick was excited and started strong, but after a mask and some eerie decorations, he was a little nervous and wanted me to hold his hand the whole time. The scary stuff didn't keep him from actually trick or treating though. After every house, he'd say "go to another house"? So funny! Peter eventually figured out what was going on and insisted on trick or treating too. He was too cute- he'd walk up and hold his arms up for the candy :)

When we got home, the kids passed out a little candy. Mick was hilarious- he held out some candy to a couple of 8 year old boys and said "here ya go, guys" :)

October 30: Super dancing!

October 30: Trick or Treating Part 1 :)

I had to take a picture of this frat house- the sorority houses had all kinds of stuff set up and the frat house literally had a table with candy on it. And nothing else :) ha!

October 29: Pumpkin Party at the Zoo

For the one day Mike was home, we headed to the zoo for the pumpkin party. They fed the animals pumpkins or gave them treats in pumpkins. At least that is what they said we didn't really see any. There were lots of pumpkins around the zoo though!

Sara brought the belt from her Halloween costume and used it as a prop for the pictures she demanded we take:

October 27-28: Getting ready for Halloween

On Thursday, we decorated our pumpkins (I got this temporary tattoo like things since when we carve a pumpkin, it rots in one second):

We got boo-ed while we were in Georgia and one of the treats we got for the people we boo-ed was fun dip (because my kids were losing it in the store and it was the closest thing to me!) The kids have never had one, so they sampled it:

October 26: LSU

We had a low key rest of our week- we had a stomach bug run its way through our family and Mike was out of town giving a lecture and workshop in Pennsylvania. On Wednesday, Sara had her playmakers class at LSU. We usually drop her off and Mike picks her up on his way home. Since we had to pick her up too, the boys and I spent the hour visiting Mike the Tiger and the Indian mounds.
