June 12-16: Beach :)

Sorry I haven't updated lately- I've been lazy! Here are some pictures from our first few days at Orange Beach. We had a blast! We couldn't get into the Gulf, but we still had fun!! Sara was super excited about building a sand castle! Mick also loved playing in the sand :)

Paw-Paw and Uncles Nathan and Landry put up our very own "beach pool". Here are the kids playing while it filled up!

Uncle Nathan swimming with the kids!

Uncle Landry celebrated a birthday while we were there- Happy Birthday :) He sure is getting old :)

Sara got the Don't Break the Ice game. We all spent a lot of time playing it!

On Tuesday, we took the kids to get some ice cream after dinner- yum!

Sweet Sara sharing her cone with Mick!

We had lots of fun swimming every morning! Sara is getting so good at swimming!

Poor Mick was so tired- the beach is hard for toddlers!

Wednesday night, Mike took Sara to look for crabs. They found this one named "Charlie the boy crab"

June 11: Blanche's wedding!

Friday night, the kids and I went to Blanche's wedding. The ceremony was so nice and the kids had a blast at the reception! It was great to see Nonna, Baba, Uncle John, and Kirsten! Sara ran around with all of her cousins and I couldn't keep Mick off the dance floor. He takes after his dad!

June 11: More swimming :)

Friday morning, Mike and I took the kids swimming! Here are a few pictures. Its hard to take pictures of Mick since I am usually chasing him around the pool...

Later on, Aunt Kristin and I went to get pedicures in preparation for our trip to the beach and Sara tagged along and got her nails painted. She had a hard time deciding between brown or pink polish, but she settled on pink (shock!)

June 10: Swimming!

On Thursday we got to observe Sara's last day of swim lessons. She learned a lot and did well! She was so excited for us to watch her!

June 6: Imagination Movers!

On Sunday, we went to New Orleans to see the Imagination Movers!

Before we left, Sara helped Dad paint some chairs:

We stopped by Aunt Connie's to pick up Jennifer and JP. Mick loved the Molly and Grady :) They are getting SO big!

Here we are outside the concert.

The kids enjoyed the concert!

Mick wasn't too sure what to think about it!

Here they are watching:

Lucky kids :)

June 4: Congrats Feinbergs!

On Friday, Carolyn, Shaun, and Anna welcomed their new addition, Andrew Shaun! He is perfect :) Congratulations :)

On Saturday, Sara and I enjoyed meeting him :)

June 1- 3: Busy Busy

I was worried that we would be bored over the summer, but so far we haven't stopped!! Sara started swim lessons last week. She is doing great- she is swimming on her own to the wall. We get to observe on Thursday, so I'll post some pictures then :)
On Tuesday, I was going through some girl baby clothes Jennifer gave back to me. Sara wanted to try on her old clothes :) I don't think they fit anymore.

At swim lessons, they have this huge slide they use as bribery. Smart people :) Here is Sara going down it. She loves it!

On Wednesday after lessons, we met Carolyn and Anna for lunch at Chick-fil-A. We had to stay a while since there was a thunderstorm and poor Mickey was worn out! But seriously, how cute is this picture?

Later on, we headed to the library to make duck puppets! Fun :)

On Thursday, we went to the mall with Ryan. After lunch we rode the carousel! Mick wasn't really feeling it. He wouldn't sit on a horse and was clinging to me. I am sure he will enjoy it in time!

He had a lot of fun at the playground though! All my pictures turned out dark... but he really loved it!

Hope your week was great too :)

May 30: Hanging Around

We had a great Sunday. We hung out with Nonna and Baba until they had to leave. Mick put on a cuteness show. He loves to sit in his chair and look at books (don't try to read them to him!) and he was cheesing it up!

Later on, Sara dressed Mick up and she said that they were pretending it was snowing (which is why he needed a scarf!) I wish it would...

And any time you get out the camera, you have to take a picture of Sara with her trophy!

May 29: Dance Recital!

Later on, we got ready for the recital! Sara tolerated getting her hair in a bun for the second time in a day fairly well.

Mick got the keys- he loves keys! He'll be trying to drive the car before we know it!

Sara loved being able to put on make up :)

Ready for their recital!

Sara got a trophy. She was so excited and still insists that her trophy says "Sara Jane"

Sara was so excited! She WANTED us to take her picture!

Sara had fun running around :)

After the recital, Nonna and Baba treated us to Acme, where Sara thoroughly enjoyed her strawberry shortcake :)

Mike and John:

What a fun day! Sara is ready to do another recital :) After she finished I brought her to watch the older girls and she loved it! I couldn't believe she sat through all of it. She's ready to sign back up for dance :)
