September 12: Happy Birthday Momo!

On Saturday, we went to Momo's 80th birthday party

Septer 11-12: Amie & Paw-paw's

The kids and I went to Amie and Paw-paw's Friday night. Amie fed Mick some yummy squash...

September 9-10: Around the House

The rest of the week was quiet for us... we had a friend come play:


Mick had some yummy rice rusks (whatever that is...)

September 8: Sara starts school!!

Can you believe that our little baby girl is officially in preschool? She was pretty excited! We tried to get a picture before we left (of course the prince and princess had to be in it!)

The prince and princess were pumped for school too (but they had to stay in the stroller!)

While Sara was at school we went to the grocery store. Mick sat in the buggy like a big boy :)

Sara had fun at school! She was covered in sand when we picked her up (there is a sandbox on the playground!) I think she learned about helpers because for the rest of the day she insisted on being my helper. She really wanted to be my helper while I fed Mick dinner:


I'm not so sure what Mick thought. It was a great day! Hope your's was nice too :)

September 5: Shreveport

On Saturday we went to Shreveport for Granpa's birthday :)
Uncle Farrell brought Sara this parasol- she LOVES it! She can even open and close it all by herself!

September 3-4: around the house

On Thursday morning, Sara wanted to watch TV and I guess she though Mick needed a blanket too

We have a world map on the wall in the playroom and we've been trying to teach Sara the continents. I think she got a little embarrassed when she saw the camera :)

September 1: Checking out Preschool

Today we took Sara to her preschool to meet her teacher and see her classroom. She loved her classroom and was particularly impressed by the small potty and sink. I guess we don't think about those things :) School starts after Labor Day. I think we're all looking forward to it! Here are some pictures of Sara before we went:



In other news, Sara conducted her first Google search- it didn't go too well :) She thought she was e-mailing her imaginary friends (Gooky and Gaby)
