Thursday!

Today was another fun day! Sara and I went to the mall to return something and she loved waving at Santa (but wouldn't get any closer!).  She wanted me to take her picture in front of this tree (because she saw another kid doing it) but she still wouldn't look at me!!!

From 12/4/08 10:26 PM

Tonight we went to the Belmont Christmas tree lighting. I had told Sara about it earlier today and she was SO excited to see "Ho Ho" (as she calls Santa) and Frosty. But she told me she was "kind of scared" of seeing them, so I explained that she didn't have to go up to them, she could just wave and say "hi." By the time Daddy got home, she was ready to go!

Santa came on a firetruck! Here is Sara watching:

This is the tree (its a good thing we saw this BEFORE we head to NYC tomorrow!)

Surpisingly, Sara was most excited about seeing Frosty!
From 12/4/08 10:26 PM

We hung around him for a while and told him "HI" quite a bit :)

And she would only view Santa from a safe distance (that beard and red suit are a bit odd)

We had a great time!

Thanksgiving weekend

While Sara and I were in Louisiana for Thanksgiving, Stephen came and visiting Daddy. They made a trip out to Walden Pond. Here are some pretty pictures:

And Stephen flew Sara around a little

On Saturday we went to the Freedom Trail and got a little further than last time! YAY! Here are the updates:

Here is Sara in the window at a bagel shop... She told everyone who passed "HI!"

And Sara and I with a balloon at Quincy Market

We made a pit stop here:

Ok here is the new stuff! Here is the Paul Revere House: (we didn't pay for the tour, so this is all that we saw!)

A statue of Paul Revere

This is where the laterns where hung to notify Paul Revere of the British troops movements (you know... one if by land; two if by sea) I am not really sure where he saw this from (his house maybe?) but it would be hard now with all the buildings around!

And Copp's Hill Burying Ground:

We still have two stops to make on the Freedom Trail... hopefully we'll see them before we leave :)

Happy Thanksgiving/Merry Christmas

This Thanksgiving the Brouillette clan got together and celebrated 2 holidays! What fun!! Here are some of the better pictures that I got :)

Sara LOVED seeing all her cousins!

This is us trying for a picture:

Nanny and Amy

Here are ALL the cousins (without Daddy... sad!)
From Louisiana Nov 2008

Sara "helping" JP

Present time!!

Sara even helped Aunt Diane open her presents!

This was Sara's FAVORITE!!

Checking herself out:

Here is Sara and Paw-Paw working on Abby Cadabby on Friday morning before we left: (did you see Abby in the Macy's parade?? We saw her about 87 times thanks to Paw-Paw's DVR)

And here is her with her new doll and purse (as she called the diaper bag):

Here are ALL our pictures from Louisiana!

More fun at Amie and Paw-Paw's

We had lots of fun at Amie and Paw-paw's!! Sara loved to help decorate the tree.

And she likes to practice her race car driving skills that Baba taught her:

Aunt Kyla brought Sara some old books from her classroom. Sara was so excited!!

And she bought Sara a candy bracelet :)

Sara helped Amie blow out the candles

Kristin read Sara a LOT of books! (as did everyone else...)

Sara sat at the table like a big girl (for a little while!)

Sara had a lot of fun baths

And she played with Amie's new Christmas toys

And so did Jewel (Uncle Nathan did this to her, NOT me!)
